Wagepoint Holdings Inc. (“Wagepoint Payroll”, “we”, or “us”) values and respects your privacy. We provide software to small businesses to enable them to process and manage employee payroll, monitor employee vacation time, and track employee attendance and hours worked. In the course of providing these services to our customers, we collect and use personal information of our customers’ employees and other representatives. In addition, we collect personal information on our own behalf in limited circumstances, such as in connection with visits to our Website, job applications, responding to customer inquiries, and sending marketing communications.
Information we process on behalf of our customers:
Wagepoint Payroll Services: In the course of providing the services, we collect and use personal information that our customers upload or otherwise provide to us through the Website. This information includes employee/contractor/representative name, residential/commercial address, birth date, social insurance number, social security number, name of employer and business address, hire date, salary/hourly, email address, phone number, job title, bank account details, tax account numbers, employment information (i.e. hire date, salary, benefits, termination date), gender, marital status, IP address, government-issued personal identification documentation (such as driver’s license), or photograph.
Payroll Usage Data: As with many applications, certain limited data is required for the App to function on your device. This data includes the type of device hardware and operating system, unique device identifier, IP address, language settings, and the date and time the App accesses our servers. We use this information to help us understand the activity on our App and to monitor and improve our App.
Create an Account: When an employer signs up to use our services, we require certain information to create an account. The information we collect includes name, company name, tax account numbers, email address, bank account details, mailing address, number of employees, industry type, phone number and credit card information. We use this information to create and administer the account.
Use of the Services: We may monitor use of the services by our customers or other authorized users to detect, investigate or prevent any actual or potential violation of our terms and conditions. We may also generate aggregated, non-identifiable data and use such information to monitor the performance, use and stability of the services and to improve the services.
