Get started with Wagepoint

KEY POINTS:

Starting July 31, 2025, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will be required for all Wagepoint 1.0 users. This extra layer of security helps protect your account by making sure it’s really you logging in.

2FA works by combining something you know (your password) with something you have (a unique code sent to your phone or authentication app). It’s a quick and easy way to keep sensitive payroll information safe from unauthorized access.

Setting up 2FA for your account only takes a few minutes. To make it as smooth as possible, we’ve also created step-by-step instructions and have shared them below:

  • If you are an employee, click here to find your instructions.
  • For everyone else (administrators, bookkeepers, business owners, etc.) click here to find your instructions.

What happens if I don’t set up my 2FA before July 31?
If you log in on August 1, you’ll immediately be asked to set up your 2FA before you can enter Wagepoint. Once set up, you can continue with your actions. We strongly recommend doing this before July 31, especially if 2FA is new to you.

Whether you’re running payroll, supporting clients, or just logging in to check tax details; 2FA helps keep things safe and secure for everyone. And protecting sensitive information is a responsibility we all share.
